SATI

SATI is a French audiovisual artist and performer known for works that achieve the total synthesis of sound and image. The name and practice draw from the concept of full-presence awareness — works in which audience and artist are equally immersed in a shared perceptual state.

In CINESTHESY 1.0, performed at the VISIONSONIC Festival, SATI presented a full-length audiovisual performance in which sound and image emerge from the same generative source, making it impossible to experience them as separate. The work’s title — synthesising cinéma and synaesthesia — signals this ambition precisely.

SATI also performs as part of the duo Sati & Yro, with works including INSIDE THE BLACK BOX, co-produced with Les Pixels Transversaux. Both solo and collaborative, SATI’s work has been presented at leading French and international audiovisual festivals.
