KOLOBOK

KOLOBOK is an interactive architectural projection mapping installation by SilaSveta Studio, created for the Moscow International Festival. Drawing from the classic Slavic children’s folk tale of a round yellow cake that rolls away from everyone it meets, SilaSveta transformed a building facade into a living, reactive storybook.

Audiences were invited to interact with the projection through gesture and movement — drawing the story forward, influencing its characters, and becoming part of the narrative. The work demonstrates SilaSveta’s signature approach of fusing spectacle with participation, creating public art that is simultaneously cinematic and communal.

The Moscow-based studio has become one of Russia’s most internationally celebrated projection mapping studios, producing work for festivals, brands, and cultural institutions across Europe and beyond.
